Nothing In Life Is Free

As they say, follow your heart and your dreams will come true. Yet, nothing can be achieved without hard work. Well, nothing in life is free, no?

A realisation that hit me yet again today - To live my dream or to make lots of money with no quality of life?

Well, I really want to achieve something with my own talents and efforts. I guess I am eager to gain recognition from my parents (which child doesn't?). For whatever I've been given, I really count my blessings. Praise the lord for my parents! :)

I had a good chat with my Mom today while driving her down town to a Tempus event. She was telling me how spendthrift I've been and I get the whole I-am-really-disappointed-in-you message. Needless to say, I was quiet (cause I'm guilty). I am going to work hard at school and hopefully I am able to do what I really want in the near future. I wanna be able to afford to buy my Mom a nice Chanel bag with my OWN money (from my own salary) and I hope to get Daddy a watch that he would like to add to his collection. I love my parents and I hope I don't disappoint them anymore. I will be able to do that for sure ;D

......

I managed to leave the house today! Finally. After staying cooped up at home for so long, down with an asthma relapse and feverish spells, it was like a rejuvenation to get out of the house! Haha. I met Charlene to watch Ratatouille today. Ahhh finalllyyyy I got the chance to watch it although I was too impatient to wait to watch a ripoff online, I say the quality sucks!! Big time!

The best food in the world is made in France and the best food in France is made in Paris.

Ratatouille was gooood. They made Paris look so beautiful in the film. Paris already is beautiful, but the movie made it even better. J'aime Paris, I HAVE TO go back there. I hope to live there one day. Reeeally hope to. I don't think my heart's ever gonna be here :)

Char and I had dinner at Coffee Club cause it was already late after the movie! It was fun chatting and being entertained by an overly friendly waitor :D

Sorry the photo I took of you sucks... My baddd :(

It was really funny over dinner. We decided to have fondue after our main course (great minds think alike heh) and there were these 3 funny guys who changed their seats and came to sit beside us, who blocked our view from watching some traditional lion dance competition downstairs and kept glancing at us until it was so obvious! RAWRRR.

LOVE THIS GIRL ;D

Don't forget our next movie! Your treat, this time!

xoxo
